Thirteen godly women have written about the beauty of winter for this week's Carnival of Beauty. Carol is hosting this week's entries on her She Lives blog.
For the next few weeks, different women will be hosting the Carnival of Beauty:
January 15 - Hope - Ellen (MzEllen & Co.)
January 22 - Serving - Me (following an unknown path)
January 29 - Gentleness - Iris (eph2810)
February 5 - Contentment - Bethany (A Picturesque Life)
Please come join us as we reflect on the beauty of Christ in our writing.

Hello Amanda:
ReplyDeleteMy name is Claire Shih.
I don't know how I end up in your blog.
And I was very exciting reading your blog.
I want to thank you for everything you do for Taiwan (my home land)
Blessings,
Claire
Lorna: thank you for catching that. I did change it. Will pop over to blog a little later day.
ReplyDeleteClaire: thanks for your kind words. I LOVE taiwan. I assume that you are no longer in Taiwan now. If you come back to my blog and read this, would you mind telling me where you are living now and what part of Taiwan you are from. Thanks again!!
Hello Amanda:
ReplyDeleteMy hometown is Tainan County and it's very close to you.
I married 1.5 years ago to a Taiwanese Canadian who is from the KaoHsiung County. My husband has been in Canada for 30 years. Which part of KaoHsiung County are you in? My husband still has family there from both sides of his family. Before i was married I was in the USA for 7 years. 1 year in Brownwood,Texas for ESL. Then I moved to San Francisco for 6 years of Graphic Design. Now I am in Vancouver, Canada.
Hey, by Brownwood, Texas, do you mean you went to HPU? My mom and dad met at HPU!
ReplyDeleteI live in DaLiao--just outside of FengShan. I have many, many friends in TaiNan--it is a great city. Its very nice to meet you Claire! :)
Hi,
ReplyDeleteHa ha...Yes...I went to HPU. I went there as a unbeliever but I feel in my spirit that MANY people prayed for me especially my english tutor and many others at that University. I surrendered to God about 3 years ago & have been on a wild adventure with Him every since. It is very nice to met you too. Keep up your great work and great walk. My family in TaiNan are not belivers yet. Can you pray for them? My husband & I pray for them every night and our greatest deaire is to see them come to the Lord.
God bless you & I will talk to you soon
Claire
